Portland Financial Planning
Established in 1992, Portland Financial Planning are specialist advisers to the mature and retired market.
The brief
As a family run business, Portland understands the importance of giving honest and open financial advice to their clients throughout Shropshire, Powys, Herefordshire and Staffordshire.
Portland approached us to assist with a refreshed and modern brand identity to carry the business forward into a new era, along with an easy to navigate website that presents key information in a visual and engaging manner.
We delivered
A clean yet modern ‘information only’ website with visual entry points and a suite of service-led iconography. A striking new brand identity with an on-trend purple palette and abstract logo mark. To help maximise exposure, we conducted a content review and set up ongoing SEO to track keywords and increase organic search rankings.
The results
Utilising the existing purple, we introduced a refreshed brand palette with a modern sans serif typeface and an abstract logomark to represent the ‘PFP’ initials. As their financial advice caters to a mature and retired audience, accessibility and ease of navigation were key elements of the website brief. The new website incorporates bright, tonal imagery and a clean, concise layout to clearly display Portland’s range of services. A relaxed photoshoot in Portland’s office garden ensured friendly imagery that introduces the team and further conveys the business personality.
Born in 1992, Portland Financial Planning provide honest and professional financial advice for the mature and retired market.
We are delighted to have worked with Source in helping us rebrand and build a new website and look forward to building a long term and productive relationship with them. We have worked with them throughout Covid-19 and the various lockdowns and at all times have been in constant contact with Daisy and the team and they have produced some excellent professional work for us. We are extremely happy and couldn’t recommend them highly enough.
